We base this activity packed African experience in Zambia. Our accommodation is directly on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River. The river, of course, culminates in the magnificent Victoria Falls, the experience of which, can only be described as, powerful, glorious and almost religious. The gentle Zambian hospitality and organisation ensures this experience is seamlessly enjoyable. This exhilarating 3 night, 3 country trip is an immersion in iconic African nature with spectacular wildlife viewing, personal interactions with rescue elephants, excellent food and plenty of unbridled fun and adrenaline.
Weather dependent: The Devil's Pool activity is water level dependent. This is a safety measure.
Difficulty level: Moderately easy - need to be able to swim for certain activities.
Special Clothing Required: Cool clothing, easy drying clothing, good walking shoes, swimsuits, sun hats, sunglasses, active wear, sunscreen, travel towels, a dry bag for phone etc.

Day 1
Take a flight from OR Tambo airport in Johannesburg to Livingstone in Zambia (#Country no.1), where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. We base this adventure in Zambia for reasons of efficiency, as well as close access to all the other adventures that make this an exhilarating adventure weekend.
Arrive at Victoria Waterfront Hotel on the banks of the great Zambezi River.
Shortly after your arrival the fun begins. The first experience will be a 2 hour game drive in the Mosi -oa - Tunya National Park with a very real possibility of seeing a variety of African animals and the endangered white rhino. This is an open vehicle game viewing experience. At times it includes some walking so wear closed comfortable shoes and a hat.
You will have time to have a quick refresh before heading out on a sunset riverboat cruise up the magnificent Zambezi River. Soak up the expanse of this African riverine environment while enjoying sundowner drinks and a light snack meal while cruising up river into the sunset. Look out for hippos, crocodiles, elephants and other African antelope along the banks of the river while the African sun dips down for another day. Return to the hotel for rest and recuperation in anticipation of the weekend's main event!
Day 2
After an early breakfast, you will be taken through the Zimbabwe border (#Country no.2) to Victoria Falls Park to enjoy the best version of the falls in Zimbabwe. This spectacular morning in nature will, quite simply, blow your mind. Dress in quick drying clothing and good walking shoes to fully enjoy this incredible, once in a lifetime experience. You will be accompanied by a guide. Take your time and imbibe the magnificence. Mosi - oa - Tunya (The Smoke that Thunders) as Victoria Falls is known locally, is the world's greatest sheet of falling water.
You will be chauffeured back to the hotel for a quick rest and to freshen and dress up for dinner with the Elephants at the Elephant Café. This is a magical moment in time where you will meet, up close and personally, a group of rescue elephants in a secluded location upriver. A fine 3 course dinner and drinks will be served. All proceeds from the restaurant are used to support and feed the magnificent beasts after which this restaurant is named.
Day 3
An early start is required to get the most out of this fantastic day in the famous Chobe Reserve in Botswana (#Country no.3)
Following a quick early breakfast, you will be driven through the border between Botswana and Zambia and met by your dedicated game guides for the day. The morning will be spent seeking out amazing wild life species from the comfort of an open safari vehicle within the famous Chobe National Park. After a light lunch, the afternoon will be spent doing a unique boat safari within the Chobe river. Prepare to be amazed by Africa as each minute unfolds.
Return to the hotel in the late afternoon and gather at the hotel restaurant for an early pizza dinner after an long and exhilarating day in the African bush..
Day 4
Today you will be taken to the boat launch site from where you will travel by boat to Livingstone Island. This was of course the position from which David Livingstone, the wild Africa explorer, first laid eyes on the Victoria Falls. This morning you will be experiencing the absolute edge of the Victoria Falls from within either Devils or Angels Pool. This is an adrenalizing swimming with some fantastic photo opportunities. After your dip, you will enjoy a fabulous breakfast served in style on Livingstone Island. For the entirety of this experience you will be guided by highly experienced guides who will ensure your safety.
Return to the hotel to pack up and be transferred to the airport to catch your flight back to South Africa with a bank of unfathomable memories forged in 3 African Countries!
