Experience the vibrant neighbourhood of Bo-Kaap on a walking tour with a local guide who will share the area's history, culture, religion, and evolution. You'll get to see the colourful homes, visit the oldest Mosque and an authentically Malay focused spice shop in Cape Town.
After the walking tour, you'll be welcomed into the home of well know Bo - Kaap resident and ex local school principal, Shaamiela. She will share with your the techniques and secrets of sublime Cape Malay cuisine. Learn hands on how to make traditional dishes such as chicken curry, bean curry, and roti. Then to top it all, sit down and enjoy that delicious 3 course Cape Malay lunch together.
