This intimate experience culminates in a 4-course seaweed and mollusc-themed meal, prepared with freshly foraged ingredients and paired with organic wines, craft beers, and botanical teas. Hosted in Lindy’s hand-built clay home, this slow-food experience connects you deeply to the natural rhythms of the Cape’s coastline.

Here, Lindy will lead a gentle walk through the dunes and rock pools, introducing you to a rich world of wild edible seaweeds and indigenous dune plants. Learn how to identify, harvest, and use these ingredients sustainably — with plenty of opportunities to taste and forage for yourself.
Afterward, you’ll enjoy a short scenic drive to Lindy’s cosy clay home, where a 4-course plant-based meal awaits. The menu features seaweed and freshly harvested molluscs paired with South African organic wines or homemade botanical drinks.
Lindy will recap the day’s discoveries and share insights on incorporating wild ingredients into daily cooking. You’ll leave inspired, nourished, and deeply connected to Cape Town’s wild coastal ecosystems.
