Day 1 – Arrival and First Safari Adventure
Touch down at Hoedspruit Airport (SA Airlink), where your personal host greets your group for a scenic transfer into the Manyeleti Reserve, one of the most tranquil corners of the Greater Kruger National Park.
Settle into your thatched bush accommodation, designed in harmony with nature and local traditions. After a refreshing welcome drink and light lunch, your African adventure begins.
As the afternoon cools, find your seat on the open safari vehicle for your introduction to safari in Southern Africa . Watch elephants, zebras, and antelope roaming as nature intended, and pause for a sundowner stop — a cherished safari tradition of snacks and drinks at sunset.
Gather around the camp fire for pre-dinner chats before enjoying a home-style South African meal served with South African wines. As the stars encompass the sky, embrace the wilderness before retreating to your rondawel, where comfort meets the authenticity of safari living.
Day 2 – Walking Safari and Evening Game Drive
Greet the dawn with coffee and rusks, then set out on a guided walking safari through the Manyeleti bushveld. Feel the earth beneath your feet as your guides interpret tracks, scents, and signs of wildlife — a deeply authentic way to connect with nature.
Return to camp for a hearty brunch, followed by time to relax — perhaps with a soothing mini massage, a refreshing dip in the pool, or a well deserved cool nap.
Later, gather for afternoon tea and a selection of sweet and savoury treats before heading out again for your evening game drive. As day turns to dusk, your guide shares the hidden rhythms of the nocturnal bush — lions stirring, hyenas calling, and the air thick with the earthy aroma of the cooling savanna. Tonight’s dinner is a traditional South African Braai (barbecue) shared beneath the stars — a connection of community around the campfire.
Day 3 – Sunrise Safari and Farewell
Rise before dawn for your final open vehicle safari — a golden opportunity to spot the Big 5 in the soft morning light. Pause mid-drive for coffee and cookies while watching the African sunrise unfold across the horizon.
Back at camp, enjoy a farewell brunch before your transfer to Hoedspruit Airport. Depart with lasting memories of a journey that has brought you close to nature, immersed you in an authentic African safari, and connected your group with the people and wildlife of the Manyeleti community.
